Weektide is built to keep your plans yours. This page describes everything the app does with data. It's short because there isn't much to tell.

Your data lives on your device

Tasks, lists, habits, focus sessions and settings are stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. Weektide has no advertising, no tracking code, and never sells data. The only thing the app reports home is an anonymous install counter: a random install identifier with the platform, app version, OS version and device model, plus a count of how many times the app has launched, so we know how many devices run Weektide. It never includes your name, email, tasks, or anything you write, and it is never joined to your account. Your content never leaves your device unless you turn on sync.

If you create a sync account

Cloud sync is optional. When you create an account, the following is stored on the sync server so your devices (and, if you choose, the people you share with) can stay in sync:

Sharing only ever includes items you explicitly mark as shared. You can disconnect anyone you share with at any time. You can also delete your account, from Settings → Sync on your Mac or Settings → Account on your iPhone, which immediately removes your account and everything it stores on the sync server. Anything stored on your devices stays there until you delete it on the device.

Calendars

Apple Calendar events are read directly on your device and never leave it. Weektide only reads the calendars you choose to display, and your calendar events are never uploaded to the sync server.

Purchases

Weektide Plus subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. Weektide never sees your payment details.

Notifications

Reminders and focus-session alerts are scheduled locally on your device.

Deleting your data

Settings → Data → Delete All Data erases everything stored by the app on that device, including preferences. Deleting a sync account removes your data from the server.
